java_fiend | 5 Happy Things...

Okay, let's see if I can do a better job of staying on top of these this week, shall we???

Here are the 5 things making me happy today.

And away we go...

1) An altogether wonderful and amazing weekend with

pixie117 of course. We had lots of lounging around time and time to really connect, which was great. She took me out to dinner on Saturday and on Sunday, we had to run a few errands and she indulged me by letting me get some ice cream... which is ordinarily death upon me. Ain't she sweet? It was a great weekend.

2) Unexpected opportunities popping up and giving you rays of hope for bigger and better things.

3) Cool evening breezes. I'm not one for the heat... like at all. So I appreciate that it gets nice and cool in the evenings.

4) Having the creative machine in my head working again. It may not quite be firing on all cylinders yet but it's humming along and I'm pretty pleased overall.

5) Having a job. It may drive me crazy and push me to the brink of mass homicide some days but it pays the bills, I have tremendous amounts of freedom and rock solid job security. In this day and age, that's something. I need to remember, especially in those times when I want to beat people to a bloody pulp that I should be thankful for this when so many don't have it.
